From paid order to paid supplier
One operating chain, two independent Shopify stores
FulfillRelay coordinates the handoff while Shopify remains the order and payment record for each merchant.
- 01
Map SKUs once
Pick the supplier's exact product for each of your SKUs. The supplier's live price becomes the settlement price — your customer price stays private to you.
- 02
Orders route themselves
Each new paid order line becomes a normal order in your supplier's Shopify store. No CSV, no chat message, no shared login — and mixed-SKU orders split cleanly between suppliers.
- 03
Tracking comes back on its own
When the supplier accepts and ships, tracking lands on your original Shopify order automatically — partial shipments included. No more chasing numbers in chat.
- 04
Pay many orders in one checkout
Settle open supplier orders through one Shopify checkout in the supplier's store. FulfillRelay verifies the payment evidence and marks exactly the covered orders paid — it never touches your money.

Returns your supplier can't ignore
The return isn't over until the supplier settles it
Shopper-only returns apps stop at your customer. When the item shipped from a supplier, the expensive half of the return — who takes it back, who refunds whom — normally dies in email. FulfillRelay runs that whole chain in one case.
Email-verified portal on your brand, with reason, quantity, and photo evidence.
Your published rules, a suggestion-only AI evidence review, and your explicit decision.
The supplier's own rules and review, the return label, receipt, and inspection.
Customer refund on your order, supplier settlement tracked separately — nothing netted in someone's head.

- Customers stay informed automatically. Branded emails go out when the request is received, when it's declined, when the return label is ready, and when the item arrives back — no “any update?” tickets.
- A work queue, not a list. Cases group by what needs you, what waits on the supplier, and what's in transit — with overdue flags after three quiet days.
- Supplier accountability, on the record. Return rate, rejections, top reason, and response time per supplier, so quality conversations use shared evidence instead of memory.
- AI that knows its place. It reads photos and notes, flags inconsistencies, and recommends a next step. It cannot approve, refund, or spend.
Customer-facing control
Use the retailer's brand where customers see the workflow
Customer-facing surfaces never show FulfillRelay — your shopper only ever sees your store. Configure the return portal, logo, colors, support identity, and verification-email HTML; Scale adds tenant-owned sending domains after DNS verification.
- Launch
- Neutral store presentation
- Growth
- Your logo and colors
- Scale
- Full white label and custom sending domain
Plans by operating role
Retailers pay for scale. Suppliers can start free.
Core payment evidence, tenant isolation, privacy, and manual return handling are never removed to force an upgrade.
Final availability and billing are shown in Shopify during install. FulfillRelay does not collect app subscription payments directly.
Built so both sides can trust it
Coordination software, not a payment intermediary
- Money moves only through Shopify checkout — FulfillRelay never holds funds or card details
- Payment status comes from verified gateway evidence, never a manual “mark paid” button
- Each store installs under its own Shopify login — no shared credentials, ever
- AI can summarize and flag; it cannot approve, refund, or buy a label
- Suppliers see only their own relationships — never another retailer's data or your customer prices
- History survives disconnects — obligations are recorded, not deleted
Questions
How FulfillRelay fits into Shopify
How does FulfillRelay route a multi-SKU Shopify order?
FulfillRelay evaluates each paid order line independently. Only variants mapped to a supplier are included in that supplier's order. Lines mapped elsewhere stay with their own supplier, and unmapped lines are held as exceptions instead of being routed. If no line is mapped to a supplier, no order is created for that supplier.
Does FulfillRelay collect supplier payments?
No. FulfillRelay prepares a separate Draft Order in the supplier's Shopify store. Shopify checkout and the supplier's configured gateway process the payment.
How does a payment batch appear in Shopify?
Shopify creates a separate, non-shipping payment order in the supplier store. It appears in Shopify Orders and reports but does not replace the supplier orders it pays.
Does the supplier receive access to the retailer's Shopify admin?
No. Each merchant installs FulfillRelay in its own Shopify store. Trading connections share only the bounded order, fulfillment, payment, and return data needed for that relationship.
Which price is used for the supplier order?
The supplier confirms an exact variant from its own Shopify catalog. The current supplier-store price and currency are used for A-to-B settlement, while the retailer's customer sale price remains private to the retailer.
Can one supplier work with several retailers?
Yes. One supplier store can maintain isolated connections with multiple retailer stores and can disconnect one relationship without deleting historical obligations or affecting the others.
Does AI approve returns or refunds?
No. AI can summarize evidence and explain how published rules apply. Retailer and supplier decisions, label actions, Shopify refunds, and settlement actions remain explicit human-controlled steps.
Does my customer hear anything during a return?
Yes. Customers who open a return through the portal receive branded email updates at the key milestones: request received, declined, return label ready, and item received. You can switch these off in your return handling rules.
